Redefining the Limit : First International Meeting on Ultra-High Gradient Whole- Body MRI

The First International Meeting on Ultra-High Gradient Whole-Body MRI convened globally recognized leaders in Houston on March 17–18, 2026, for two days of focused discussion on the future of high-performance MRI. Participants explored the engineering requirements, biological opportunities, and clinical pathways needed to realize ultra-high gradient imaging at scale.

Throughout the meeting, a clear consensus emerged among experts: the field is entering a transformative new era in medical imaging. As ultra-high gradient systems become increasingly integrated into research, the technical infrastructure is beginning to align with the scientific ambitions to probe human health at cellular level using MRI. ​
